Asanas : Are the postures which keep the body healthy, balanced and help it in maintaining harmony with nature. These are slow stretching exercises performed to improve the whole body fitness. Names of some of the asanas are Garur asana, Tar asana,Seesh asana, Vajur asana, Bhujang asana, Dhanur asana, Paschimottan asana, Padamasana, Hal asana, Shav asana. These asanas are very good for concentration of mind, prevention of diseases, getting rid of backache, digestive problems and keeps the heart and brain fresh.
