(a) Add rain: Acid rain is the rain water containing sulphuric acid, nitric add and carbonic add which are formed from the oxides of sulphur, nitrogen and carbon present in the air as pollutants. Add rain has a pH of 4-5 and can cause harm to material and life.
(b)Smog : It is a mixture of smoke and fog of pariticulates. Prindpal constitutents of classidal smog are S${{O}{2}}$ carbon soot. It has reducing nature.
