What was the use of wood blocks in 15th century in Europe?
Marco Polo returned to Italy after many years of exploration in central Asia and China. He brought back home the knowledge of “Wood block printing technology’ which "he had acquired in China. With this knowledge the Italian began producing books with woodblocks and soon this technology spread to other parts of Europe.
