What is the present occupational structure in India?
Present occupational structure in India is described as below
(i) Primary sector is the main source of employment with over 53.2% of total workforce. Secondary sector provides employment to only about 21.5 % and service sector employs about 25.3% of workforce.
(ii) About 58.1 % of urban worker are in the service sector and 34.4% are in the secondary sector.
