On the basis of our observations, as pH gradually increases from 1 to 6 the acid becomes weaker and weaker.
As the pH increases from 8 to 14 the basic nature grows stronger and stronger. (Activity 13)
If the pH is exactly ‘7’ the solution is neutral.
