What is the difference between sporangium, spores, sporophylls, sporophyte, etc??
A sporangium is a sac-like structure found in plants and some organisms in which spores are formed and stored.
Spore is a small, usually single-celled reproductive body that is highly resistant to desiccation and heat and is capable of growing into a new organism.
Sporophylls are leaf-like appendages in pteridophytes which bear sporangia.
The sporophyte is the diploid multicellular individual or generation of a plant with alternation of generations that begins from a diploid zygote and produces haploid spores by meiotic division
