What is the difference between a homogeneous mixture

What is the difference between a homogeneous mixture and a heterogeneous mixture?

Homogeneous mixtures have no visible boundaries of separation between the various constituents of the mixture. The constituents are completely mixed together and are indistinguishable from one another.

Heterogeneous mixtures have visible boundaries of separation between the various constituents of the mixture. The constituents remain separate and are easily distinguishable and one constituent is spread throughout the other constituent as small particles, droplets etc.
