Pith ball electroscope is a device which is use to detect whether a body is charged or not. A pith ball is suspended with a string freely in air. When a charge body brought near the ball either it will attract the ball or repel the ball on the basis if charges, as like charges repel and unlike charges attract. Pith ball is charged by the means on any charging method.
