What is an organic evolution? It cannot be equated with progress. Explain with the help of a suitable example.

Evolution: Evolution is gradual change of simplest form of matter to complex organisms. Evolution is “sequence of gradual changes that occur in the primitive atmosphere/ organisms over millions of years in which new species are produced”. It cannot be equated with progress. More complex body designs have emerged and evolved over time. It does not mean that :older designs are inefficient.” One of simplest form of life is bacteria that came into being very early in evolution is still surviving in present conditions. The bacteria inhabits most inhospitable habitats such as, hot springs, deep sea thermal vents as well as ice in Antarctica whereas the human beings, have a body design that is best suited to their environment as well as supports their existence too.
