The frames of references which are themselves rotatory; revolving or accelerating etc., such that Newton’s first law of motion becomes invalid in their case, can be called non-inertial frame of reference, e.g., strictly speaking earth revolving around with some acceleration is a non-inertial frame of reference, and astronaut inside a satellite is a non-inertial frame of reference.
