What happens when:

1.In planaria, each piece completes its own missing parts to form 2 planaria. It is called Regeneration.
2.Fragmentation occurs in multi-cellular organisms with relatively simple body organisation, example a filamentous algae- spirogyra simply breaks up into smaller pieces upon maturation (attain considerable length). The pieces fragments grow into new individuals.
3.Sporangia burst to spread spores that gives rise to new spirogyra plant when they come in contact of moisture.
