The measure of two adjacent angles of a parallelogram is in the ratio 2 : 3. Find the measure of each of the angle of the parallelogram.

We know that sum of adjacent angles of a parallelogram is 180^{o}.

⇒ 2x + 3x = 180^{o}

⇒ 5x = 180^{o}

⇒ x = 36^{o}

Therefore, adjacent angles are 2 × 36^{o} = 72^{o} and 3 × 36^{o}= 108^{o}

We know that the opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.

Thus, the angles of the parallelogram are 72^{o}, 108^{o}, 72^{o}, 108^{o}.
