State two economically important uses of
(i) Heterotrophic bacteria.
(ii) Archaebacteria.

(i) Heterotrophic bacteria Decompose dead bodies of plants and animals. So, they are
nature’s scavengers, the organic content of sewage is broken down by these bacteria.
(ii) Archaebacteria They are used in gobar gas (hiogas) production and are helpful causing fermentation of cellulose, in ruminants.
