State Archimedes principle and its two applications?
Archimedes principle states that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid whether fully or partially submerged is equal to the wieght of the fluid that the body displaces.
Upthrust = Buoyant force = Weiht of the displaced fluid.
Applications:
Floating of aquatic animals
Constructionof ships, steemers and boats
