In GIFT gametes are transfered to oviduct. Can gametes be transfered to uterus for the same results?

No. gametes can not be transferred to the uterus for the same result beacause usually fertilization takes place in the ampullary region of oviduct. In GIFT both male and female gametes are transferred to the oviduct so that fertilization can occur. if the male female unfertilized gamete will be transferred to uterus then it will not get fertilized.

No ishika it is not lyk that …I m confused

No its not possible because the ovum which we have taken from the donor has to be fertilised with the sperm.Since the fertilisation(in fallopian tube/oviduct) has not occured the ovum cannot be transfered to the uterus.
