  1. The two sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are gonorrhoea and syphilis. These infectious diseases spread from one person to another by sexual contact with an infected person. Two symptoms of STDs are burning sensation at urination and urethral discharge and sores in the genitals.
  2. Since ovulation, i.e., the release of ovum occurs on the 14th day of the menstrual cycle, i.e., in its middle, chances are more for the sperms to fertilise the egg or ovum during this time.
