MAT Syllabus 2019: All Indian Management Association (AIMA) organizes MAT, a national level entrance exam to select candidates for postgraduate management and allied courses. Around 20,000 candidates appear for each session of MAT exam aspiring to become an MBA/PGDM graduates. In order to select the suitable candidates, AIMA MAT exam will test the potential of the candidate after proper training. MAT syllabus is specifically designed to test the aptitude skills of the candidate through 5 individual sections each having its own role in determining the candidate’s potential. The upcoming MAT 2019 exam will be conducted on 1st September and 14th September in offline and online modes respectively. Since MAT is a standardized exam, the syllabus and exam pattern of MAT remains more or less the same. MAT Syllabus 2019
As mentioned earlier, there are five sections in MAT:

MAT Syllabus 2019 For Language Comprehension
Language Comprehension of MAT 2019 section will test the candidates’ command over the English language. This section is further divided into 2 parts – reading comprehension passages and topics from grammar and verbal ability.
Reading Comprehension: This subsection required candidates to think in the authors perspective to answer questions. The reading comprehension passages can either be taken from current affairs impacting lives or from English literature books written by great philosophers. Some times, the passages can even be a historical event, science, or fiction related.
There will be around 20 questions from 4 Reading Comprehension Passages. This means it carries 50% weightage in Language Comprehension section of MAT syllabus.
