These different types of tissues are present in varying amounts into organs which perform specific functions.
Human heart acts as a pump which receives blood from the body and sends blood to the body through different kinds of blood vessels. Cardiac muscles are designed specifically for this function, are present in the heart.
In addition to cardiac muscle, the heart has of connective tissue in abundance to support the shape and connect the muscles to one another as well as to their surroundings acting as an anchor.
The protective covering of the heart pericardium is made of connective tissues.
The heart is lined with a single layered epithelium called simple squamous epithelium. This epithelium allows for the blood to move smoothly through the heart and into the blood vessels.
