Kindness and compassion can change lives for the better

Kindness and compassion can change lives for the better. Justify the statement with reference to ‘The Bishop’s Candlesticks.’

The play conveys the message that goodness dwells in all human beings and no one is born a criminal or sinner.
Unfortunate circumstances and an indifferent society turn one into a criminal. Also, it is kindness, generosity and compassion rather than violence, that can change a man for the better.
Provision of a respectable life for everyone and an understanding approach can contribute towards bringing down the crime rate and provide a healing touch to all criminals. The world can become a better place to live in if we have a loving, caring and a respectable attitude towards each other.
