Ind the image of point (2, 3) under (i)X-axis (ii) Y-axis (iii)origin

Find the image of point (2, 3) under
(i) X-axis
(ii) Y-axis
(iii) origin.

(i) We know that, if X-axis is mirror, then sign of y-coordinate will be changed and sign of x-coordinate will remain same.
X-axis = (2, -3)
(ii) If Y-axis is mirror, then sign of x-coordinate will be changed and sign of y-coordinate will remain same.
Y-axis = (-2, 3)
(iii) If origin is taken as mirror, then signs of both coordinates will be changed.
So, image of point (2,3) under
∴ Origin = (-2,- 3)
