In which way have microbes played a major role in controlling diseases caused by harmful bacteria?
Several microbes are used in preparing medicines. The most important medicines for which microbes are used, are antibiotics. Antibiotics are chemical compounds produced by some microbes, which are used to kill or to subside the growth of other disease causing microbes.
