If the median of five observations y, y + 2, y + 4, y+ 6 and y + 8 is 11, then find the value of y. (Here, y is a positive integer)

Given five observations are y, y + 2, y + 4, y + 6 and y + 8.
∵ y is a positive integers.
∴ y, y + 2, y + 4, y + 6, y + 8 are in ascending order.
