If the cells of onion peel and RBCs are separately kept in hypotonic solution. What will take place? Explain the reason for your answer

If the cells of onion peel and RBCs are separately kept in hypotonic solution, both the cells will swell. RBCs will burst easily while cells of onion peel will resist the bursting to some extent.
Reason Onion peel being a plant cell, has cell wall while RBCs do not have cell wall. Thus, RBCs will burst as there is no mechanism to restrict the entry of water into them. But due to the presence of cell wall, onion peel will not burst. The cell wall is rigid and prevents the entry of water into cell.
