How we make sound? 8 th standard

1 How we make a sound?

ans: When we tries to make a sound,we take air inside air tube. These air goes to larynx. In larynx, there is a vocal cord. The vocal cord vibrate the air to produce sounds. In between the vocal folds there is glottis which lengthen and shorten the vocal cord to produce different type of sound in different amplitude. Then this simple sound goes to our mouth where we uses tongue, teeth, etc to pronounciate the sound clearly. thank you

“Vibration of objects produce sound in favourable conditions including a particular medium through which it could travel from the sound maker to the listener”

Sounds are made when objects vibrate. The vibration makes the air around the object vibrate and the air vibrations enter your ear. You hear them as sounds. You cannot always see the vibrations, but if something is making a sound, some part of it is always vibrating.
