How long does it take for an adult mosquito to lay eggs?

Within 3-4 days after emergence from pupa stage the mosquitoes mate. After mating, the female mosquito looks for a blood meal. The blood is used to fertilize the eggs. Within 3-5 days, she is ready to lay her eggs.
