How can the consumer use his Right to Information when he is not satisfied with the service he gets?
The consumer has the Right to Information about the particulars of goods and services that they purchase.
He/she can complain and ask for compensation or replacement of the product, if it is proved to be defective in any manner.
Consumers can complain and ask for compensation in case of wrong information or promises. The consumer can file an application using the RTI Act that keeps us informed about progress of any work and makes the government departments answerable to the consumer.
