Give four differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells

Prokaryotic cells :

  1. A cell wall formed of amino sugars is present in prokaryotic cells.
  2. Endoplasmic reticu¬lum, golgi complex, mitochondria, lysosomes, vacuoles and ribosomes are absent.
  3. Chromosomes formed of DNA is present in the cytoplasm.
  4. Chromosomes are not enclosed by nuclear membrane.
    Eukaiyotic cells :
1.A cell wall formed of cellulose is present in plant cells.
2.These cell organelles are present in these cells.
3.Chromosomes formed of DNA are present in the nucleoplasm.
4.Chromosomes are enclosed by nuclear membrane.
