1.Epistolary novel used the private and personal form of letters to tell its story. Through these letters, the readers were told about the hidden conflict among the characters of the novel. Samuel Richardson’s Pamela was an epistolary novel.
2.Serialised novel is published in instalments, each part in a new issue of a magazine. These novels allowed readers to relish the suspense, discuss the characters of a novel and live for weeks with their stories. In 1836, Charles Dickens’s, Pickwick Papers was serialised in a magazine.
