Explain the following terms by giving one exafhple of each:
(i) Mineral
(ii) Ore
(iii) Gangue

(i) Minerals: The naturally occurring compounds of metals are called Minerals. Example : Bauxite is the minerals of Aluminium.

(ii) Ore: The mineral from which metal can be extracted conveniently and profitably is called an Ore. Examples : Magnetite ore of Iron.

(iii) Gangue: The ore with earthy and sandy impurities are called Gangue. Example : Sand, Rock.
