Explain ‘Single Integrated Judiciary’.

Single Integrated Judiciary means that:

  1. The Supreme Court is the head of the entire system. It not only supervises but also exercises control over the functioning of other courts.
  2. There are single civil and criminal system that operates throughout the country and not separate sets of law.
  3. By the appeal, all the cases that come from the Lower court can be taken to the High Court and ultimately to the Supreme Court.
