Explain 'right to choose' with an example

Any consumer who buys goods or receives a service has the right to choose whether to buy the goods or continue to receive the service.
As an example, sometimes cooking gas supply dealers insist that you have to buy the stove
from them when you take a new connection.
Here your right to choose another stove from another shop is being violated.
