Explain NaCl + H2O =
When salt is diluted with water then a mixture of ions like Na⁺, Cl⁻, H⁺ and OH⁻ ions will be produced in the salt solution. They may combine to form different products based on affinity.
The general mechanism may written as follows
NaCl + H₂O → NaOH + HCl
