Draw Maxwell-Boltzmanris distribution curve and state the effect of temperature on distribution of velocities

Effect of temperature: The increase in temperature of the gas results into the increase in the molecular motion. When the temperature is raised, the maximum of the curve moves to higher energy value and the curves broadens out, i.e., spreads to the right such that there is a greater proportion of molecules with much higher energies.
