In isogametes all gametes are similar i.e.,gametes cannot be caterogized into male and female gametes.On the other hand, in heterogametes,The male and female gametes can be distinguished. Male gametes is called the anthetrozoids(sperms) andfemale gametes is called the egg(ovum)
