Incorporation refers to the registration of the company as a corporate body under the Companies Act, 1956. The following steps are required under this stage:
- To decide the name of the .company : To
decide the name of the company, it should be confirmed from the registrar office whether the permission for the name is granted or not. - Filing of necessary documents : MO A, AO A, information about registered office, list of directors written consent of directors, preliminary agreement with managerial personnel, statutory declaration etc.
- Payment of prescribed fee : As per section 611 of the Companies Act, a pre-determined fee is paid to the Registrar of Companies.
- Registration : After completion of the above
formalities, the registrar checks and inspects the documents related to the incorporation of the company. If he is satisfied, then the certificate of incorporation and a corporate identity number is issued to the company.
