Movable Joints (Synovial joint) Immovable Joints
* Movable joints allow greater freedom of movement. * Immovable joints don’t allow any kind of movement of the bones they connect.
* Synovial joints contain a synovial cavity. * Synovial cavity is absent.
* Examples are shoulder, elbow and wrist joints. * Examples are skull and pelvic girdle.
