Construct a rhombus of diagonals 6.4 and 5.2
Let the given diagonals be AC = 5.2 cm and BD = 6.4 cm
Steps of Construction:
- Draw a line segment AC = 5.2 cm
- Draw perpendicular bisector of AC. Let it intersect AC at O.
- With O as centre and radius equal to half of BD(3.2 cm) draw arcs on either side of AC on the perpendicular bisector. Let them intersect at B and D as shown.
- Join points A, B; points B, C; points C, D and points A, D.
- ABCD is the required rhombus.
