'Advertising involves non-personal contact with the consumer'

‘Advertising involves non-personal contact with the consumer’. Comment.

Advertising is a non-personal form of communication, but it is very effective as it is presented through, attractive graphics, audio, video means like radio, television, press, etc, which influences the customers and a company’s product get known to a wide range of customers. Advertisement creates a link between manufacturer and customer.
Thus, it helps in establishing non-personal contact with the consumer, e.g. Company often introduces a product with its brand ambassador, like Sachin promotes Boost, Deepika promotes Nescafe, Aamir promotes Titan watches.
This sort of advertisement influences buyers to buy the products as their role model or icons are following XYZ products. In this way, it establishes contact with customers without meeting them personally.
