A cubical object of side 4 cm has fallen in a well

A cubical object of side 4 cm has fallen in a well. If mass of the cube is 2 kg, then state whether this object will float or sink in water. (Take, density of water 1000 ${{kgm}^{3}}$)

Given that,
Mass of the object, m = 2 kg
Side of cube= 4 cm = 0.04m [v= 1 m= 100cm]
Since , volume of cube = (side)3
Volume of the Object = 0.04 x 0.04 x 0.04 = 0.000064 ${{m}^{3}}$
As we know that ,
Density = Mass of the object / Volume of the object = 2/0.000064 ${{kgm}^{-3}}$ = 2000000/64
= 31250${{kgm}^{-3}}$
Here, density of object(31250${{kgm}^{-3}}$ ) is grater than density of water(1000 ${{kgm}^{-3}}$).
Therefore , object will be sink.
