As we all know, corruption is a very bad thing. It inhibits individual growth as well as the growth and development of society and the country. It is social evil that plays the human body and mind socially, economically and intellectually. It is rooted so deeply because of the growing human greed for money, power and position. Corruption is the abuse of authority, public position, natural or public resources, power, etc. by someone to obtain one’s personal gratifications. According to sources, it has been identified that India ranks three in highly corrupt countries.
Corruption is widespread in the public service, politics, business and other illegal areas. India is a country famous for its democracy but it is corruption that disrupts its democratic system. Politicians are highly responsible for any type of corruption in the country. We have chosen our leaders with a lot of expectations to lead our country in the right direction. In the beginning, they make many promises to us, however, just after the vote, they forget about all this and get involved in the corruption. We are sure that our India would be free from corruption one day when our political leaders would be free of greed and use their power, money, status and position in the right direction to lead the country, not their own luxury and personal wishes.
We should choose very honest and trustworthy leaders to lead our India as our first Indian leaders such as Lal Bahadur Shastri, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, etc. Only such political leaders can reduce and finally end the corruption of India. Young people in the country should also be aware of all the reasons for corruption and come together to solve it in groups. The rising level of corruption must take heavy measures to take control of it.
