    3.Function of:
    (i) Medulla: Medulla controls various involuntary functions like heart beat, respiration etc. Also, it controls various involuntary actions such as blood pressure, salivation, vomiting.
    (ii) Cerebellum: It controls posture and balance. It controls precision of voluntary actions.

(b) “Both overproduction and underproduction of growth hormone leads to disorders in
the body”. Growth hormone is secreted by the pituitary gland and regulates growth and development of the body. If there is deficiency of this hormone in childhood, it leads to dwarfism and if it is over produced then leads to gigantism.
