What do you understand by Lorenz Curve

One of the most useful approaches to an analysis j of inequality is through graphical presentation, in the form of Lorenz Curve. This curve is used for | measuring the dispersion of wealth and income and it is a cumulative percentage curve.

The Lorenz curve can usually be represented by a function L(F), where F, the cumulative portion of the population, is represented by the horizontal axis, and L, the cumulative portion of the total wealth or income, is represented by the vertical axis.
