What are natural resources ? State two factors that work against an equitable distribution of these resources

Anything available in the natural environment that can be used by human beings to satisfy their needs and demands is known as natural resources.
Factors working against an equitable distribution of natural resources:
(i) Over-exploitation of these resources by the industrialists for short-term gains.
(ii) Improper management which has led to access of natural raw materials to certain group of people which are either influential.
