Name the three basic tissues systems in the flowering plants. Give the tissue names under each system.
The three basic tissue systems in flowering plants are
(i) Epidermal tissue system The tissue related to this system are epidermis, cuticle and wax, stomata and trichomes.
(ii) Ground tissue system It consists of cortex, endodermis, pericycle, medullary rays, pith and ground tissue of leaves.
(iii) Vascular tissue system It contains conducting tissues like xylem and phloem.
