Name the adaptive feature of cockroach which helps it in
(i) protecting itself from chemicals, injuries and water.
(ii) in exchange of gases.
(i) Cockroach belongs to phylum-Arthropoda and is a terrestrial organism.
Its body is protected by an exoskeleton made up of hard substance called chitin. This exoskeleton protects the cockroach from any harm.
(ii) The body of the cockroach have holes called spiracles present in the thorax and abdomen of its body. Spiracles are the structure that helps in uptake and exchange of atmospheric gases.
