The various post-fertilisation events occuring in angiosperms are:
1.Endosperm is formed before the development of the embryo,as it provided nourishment to the developing embryo.
2.The zygote at the microplylar and undergoes successive divisions to form proembryo. It is followed by the formayions of a globular,heart-shaped mature embryo.
3.A mature dicotyledons embryo consists of two cotyledons,epicotyl and hypocotyl.On the other hand, a mature monocotyledonous embryo possesses only one cotyledon, a coleoptile and coleorhiza.
