Hormones secreted by the following glands are
(i) Hypothalamus secrets Thyrotropin releasing hormone, Adrenocorticotropin releasing hormone, Gonadotropin releasing hormone, Somatotropin releasing hormone, Prolactin releasing hormone, Melanocyte stimulating hormone releasing hormone.
(ii) (a) Pars Distalis Part of Pituitary (anterior pituitary) secretes Growth hormone (GH),
Prolactin (PRL), Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Adrenocorticotrophic Hormone (ACTH), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH).
(b) Pars intermedia secretes Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone (MSH).

(iii) Thyroid secretes Thyroxine (T4 ) and triiodothyronine (T3)

(b) also secretes corticoids (glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid) and sexocorticoids from
adrenal cortex. .
(vi) Pancreas, a-cells secrete glucagon, while the [1-cells secrete insulin.
