There are three types of roots are found in plants:
1.Tap root : The roots which develops from radicle along with its branches is termed as tap root. Secondary root develops from tap root.
2.Fibrous root : Repeated branching of the radicle results in the development of fibrous root.
3.Adventitious root : Roots which arise from other part of the plant except radicle, are termed as adventitious roots.
