Commerce provides a means for the exchange and distribution of goods. It serves as a link between producers and consumers and thereby bridges the gap between them. Buying and selling of goods between persons living in different places requires a common medium. Commerce removes this obstacle and its purpose is to provide the right good to the right person at the right time and at the right place.
