How do you know the nature of salt formed due to the reaction between acids and bases ?
The nature of salt depends on the strength of acid and base which form the salt. Ex : strong acid + strong base —> neutral salt
strong acid + weak base—> acidic salt
weak acid + strong base —> basic salt
weak acid + weak base -—> depends on relative strength of acid and base.
